16 January 2009 Marieke is back from
her maternity leave. Her first gig will be at Stirling Folk Club on the 2nd of
February. 10 December 2008 Due to unforeseen
circumstances our gig at the Davy Lamp Folk Club on Saturday 13 December has
been cancelled. We are aiming to reschedule this gig next year. 20 November 2008 Happy news:
Marieke gave birth to a little boy called Calum on 10 November 2008. She's at
home now, enjoying family life with her husband Ewan and their newborn son.
Marieke will be back performing with the band later on in 2009. 17 September 2008 Marieke will be
taking a break from the band after September 2008. She's expecting her first
child in November and will not perform with the band until later on in 2009.
During Marieke's absence, we're very happy to have renowned Scottish singer and
cellist Wendy Weatherby lined up to cover any gigs. Check out Wendy's website
here. August 2008
We were very pleased to see our cd "For No-one and
Everyone" selling so well at the Mill Race Festival in Cambridge,
Ontario. The downside of this popularity was, however, that we ran out
of cd's before the festival had finished. For our
Canadian fans who still want to order a cd, please go here
for more details. 6 May 2008 We are very pleased to be playing our
first festival in Canada this year - the Millrace Festival in Cambridge,
Ontario, on the weekend of August 1st. Check out their
website at
